A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Scott majored in Radio, Television and Motion Pictures, which was eventually folded into the Journalism and Mass Communication major. For more than 20 years, he worked as an advertising copywriter, honing his creative and writing skills as he created numerous television commercials, radio spots, print ads and internet content.
