EssayEdge Services

It’s not a problem at all. Depending on the number of your essays and their total word count, we can help you even in 24 hours or less. For this matter, we added rush edit add-ons to expedite turnaround time to 24 hours for Proofreading and Standard packages, and to 72 hours for All-in-One, priced at $59 and $139 accordingly.

Our system allows only several file formats to be uploaded. Fortunately, they are among the most widespread nowadays: .doc, .docx, .rtf, .txt. The first two are Microsoft Word documents, so you should face no issues uploading your file. If your file has a different format, please convert it yourself or contact our support team to help you with it.

Of course! We recently added a corresponding service. Within 48 hours, our editor will contact you and conduct a 30 – 45-minute interview by phone or video conference at a convenient time. You will receive their suggestions, insights, and ideas on how to start writing and craft an impeccable essay. The price of a consultation is $120.

EssayEdge is a GDPR-compliant company, meaning that your personal info, the files you share and your correspondence with us will remain private. We do not share this information with any third parties, and it may be accessed only by our employees, who operate under NDAs. Also, you may request full deletion of your data and we will be obliged to comply.

Please do not hesitate to contact us If you feel like the editor assigned to your order did not fulfill their duties according to the chosen package. Our QA Manager will thoroughly check the file afterward and, depending on the result of this review, either ask the same expert to re-edit the file based on your feedback or ask a different editor to do that.

By default, our packages, except for the Premier plan, include one round of editing for your essay/-s. If you need any revisions afterward, you may purchase the “second reading with the same editor” add-on to re-edit your updated draft at 50% of the original price. This option is unavailable if your initial order includes the “rush edit” add-on.

Checking your essay for grammar and spelling errors is a default for all our packages. However, if you wish for our editor also to review your essay’s structure and content, you may want to consider our Standard plan or All-in-One if you have multiple essays.

Please see the pricing plans page for more details.

EssayEdge editors are fully proficient in reviewing all kinds of admission essays, SoPs, personal statements, motivational and cover letters, supplementals, addendums and many others! Please see our checkout page for the complete list of documents. Do not hesitate to choose “other” if you cannot find the right one or are unsure about your choice!

EssayEdge editors can certainly help with tightening your essay. However, they cannot cut your essay by more than 100 words. Their goal is to help you craft an essay that reflects your own voice and perspective, and cutting an essay by more than 100 words would greatly impact its overall tone and structure to the point where it is no longer your unique work. Please keep in mind word count limits as directed by the institution you are applying to, or your instructor.

EssayEdge offers services ranging from proofreading to full critiques. Our Proofreading service includes a check for typos and grammatical errors, and is best for those with a near-final essay. Our Standard service combines proofreading with a constructive critique based around your essay’s structure, content, and tone. Lastly, our Premier service is the most comprehensive. It includes proofreading and critique, plus a brainstorming session, 2 phone conversations with your editor, and 14 days of email support.

If you are looking for admissions consulting plus editing, then our Big Envelope Package is for you. This includes professional admissions consulting for one application, along with all the editing services needed for each piece of the application. For more information, contact us.

After you have selected your editing service, you’ll be asked to upload your document. Please upload in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx), as Plain Text (.txt), or Rich Text Format (.rtf).

Pricing & Billing

You will be asked to submit your payment after you upload your essay. We accept credit cards, PayPal, and Alipay.

Working With An Editor
